“Another U.S. is Possible, Another Party is Necessary” – The Green Party will meet in Detroit!

UPDATE (June 22, 2010): Heading to the U.S. Social Forum?  If you’re registered for the Green Party Annual National Meeting you are also registered for the Social Forum.  Try taking the #16 city bus from Wayne State University to Cobo Hall, the central location of the Social Forum.  Pick it up at Cass and Putnam (near the Wayne State campus) and take the #16 to Jefferson and Shelby (a two-minute walk from the Social Forum).  A Google map of the route is hereClick here for more details on getting into the Social Forum.

The U.S. Social Forum has posted a list of hundreds of  workshops that will be taking place before and during the Green Party’s meeting. Click here to start planning your experience at the Social Forum!  All registrants for the Green Party meeting will also be registered for the U.S. Social Forum.

The National Committee of the Green Party of the United States will meet from June 25-27, 2010, in Detroit, Michigan.  The Green Party meeting will be preceded by the U.S. Social Forum, a gathering of thousands of activists organizing people’s solutions to economic and ecological crisis.  When you register for the 2010 Green Party meeting, you will automatically be registered for the U.S. Social Forum.
